What can you harvest from chicken? The answer is not limited to eggs; you can also get bio gas and organic fertilizers from their wastes, which in turn, can be used again as farming implements. In the GarinFarm, this is but one of the systems used to create a self sustaining ecosystem.

Backyard Farming

Live out the folk song, Bahay Kubo, as it comes to real life in the agricultural showcase in the GarinFarm! Limited space should not stop man from enjoying the bounties of nature. In GarinFarm, one can find a demonstration of backyard farming, complete with a bahay kubo, to show you how to produce vegetables, fruits and livestock in a 1,000 sq.m area.

Do you want your very own vegetable garden while living in the hustle and bustle of the city? GarinFarm also has a 6×6 sq.m, demonstration farm that teaches you practicable farming techniques and tips, which you can emulate in your own backyard. Replete with green beds of various vegetables and fruits planted in recyclable materials, the GarinFarm exhibits that agriculture is not merely for the rural landscape but can be practiced anywhere you are, giving you fresh, nutritious, and cheap produce anytime you want!

Farm Technology

GarinFarm uses smart farming with the application of locally adaptable agricultural technologies and concepts. Inter-cropping and integrated farming is also practiced to maximize land utility. The farm also breeds chickens, goats, rabbits, pigeons, turkeys, sheep and other livestock as application of integrated farming. From the harvests, the processing facility in the resort produces VCO, coco sugar, banana chips, banana cake and many more delicacies.
